Common questions about FLASH Fund

Does a 75+ score guarantee funding?
No, a high score enables you to apply but doesn't guarantee investment. The score shows you understand fundamentals, but we still evaluate founder-market fit, vision, and other qualitative factors. Think of 75+ as passing the first filter, not the final exam.
What are your investment terms?
We use standard Y Combinator SAFE notes with a valuation cap. The exact cap depends on your stage and traction but typically ranges from $8M-$15M. We take 5-10% equity on a fully diluted basis. No board seats, no weird terms, no surprises.
What if my score is below 75?
Use the FLASH analysis to understand what needs improvement. Many founders increase their score by 20-30 points after implementing our recommendations. You can re-run the analysis anytime to track progress. Once you hit 75+, the application unlocks automatically.
Do you lead rounds or follow?
We can do both. For pre-seed rounds under $1M, we often lead or co-lead. For larger seed rounds, we're happy to participate alongside other investors. Our goal is to be helpful, not demanding.
What sectors do you invest in?
We're sector-agnostic but have deep expertise in B2B SaaS, marketplaces, fintech, and developer tools. We avoid heavily regulated industries (like pharmaceuticals) and capital-intensive hardware businesses. If software can solve it, we're interested.
Do I need to be in Silicon Valley?
No! We invest globally. Great founders are everywhere. Our portfolio includes companies from 15+ countries. The only requirement is that you're building a scalable, venture-backable business.
What happens after investment?
